Caring For Newly Planted Trees and Shrubs

Proper watering of newly planted trees and shrubs is one of the most important ways to ensure their survival, especially in the ever-changing weather of Kansas City. Even the heartiest of plants need extra attention after planting. So be sure to water them accordingly. We have created a watering guide to help through the process.

Watering After Seeding

How much should you water your lawn? How often? It depends on many factors, but the first question is "how old is the lawn?". If it's newly seeded or has new sod, it needs much more water (at least daily watering) than established lawns.

The fall is the best time to plant or overseed lawns. Seeding after dry summers is especially important as many lawns succomb to drought. We recommend overseeding and aerating your lawn 1-2 times per year. Click the link below to learn more.
